Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-06-01. Provisional text pending final review by legal counsel.

1. Controller

The controller for processing carried out through this Site and direct professional communications is Darío Alejandro Pérez González, acting as an individual professional and owner of Psicometrik, with professional contact address in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain.

Privacy contact: dario@psicometrik.com. Psicometrik does not publish a specific Data Protection Officer in this version.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the public website, contact and professional communications, project scoping, proposals, service delivery and support associated with custom platforms for companies, professionals, institutions and research teams.

When Psicometrik builds, maintains or supports a custom platform for a client, the client will usually decide the purposes, scope, participant groups and access to results. In those cases Psicometrik will normally act as a processor under the client's documented instructions, except for its own legal, contractual, billing, security and defence operations.

This Site is an informational and contact environment. Any access to a project platform, when applicable, will be governed by the corresponding contract, protocol and access instructions.

3. Data categories

Depending on the relationship, Psicometrik may process identification and contact data, professional role, organisation, project information, messages sent through contact channels, technical navigation data, contractual and billing data, and information needed to evaluate or deliver a custom project.

Do not send clinical, educational, minor-related or otherwise sensitive identifiable information through open contact channels unless there is a prior agreed secure channel and documented project basis.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to requests and assessing project fit, based on pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest.
  • Preparing proposals, contracts, project documentation and technical specifications, based on pre-contractual or contractual relationship.
  • Providing custom development, maintenance, support, incident management and documentation, based on contract and, where applicable, client instructions as processor.
  • Complying with legal, tax, accounting and administrative obligations.
  • Managing security, traceability and defence against claims, based on legal obligation and legitimate interest.
  • Managing cookie preferences and optional analytics, based on consent where required.

5. Sensitive data, minors and research projects

Projects involving assessment, education, health-related contexts, minors, special categories of data or research protocols require a specific analysis of roles, safeguards, minimisation, access, retention, information notices and documentation before processing starts.

No automatic diagnoses are made through this public Site. Any support reports or outputs in a custom platform must be interpreted according to the project protocol and by authorised professionals or teams.

6. Recipients and providers

Data may be processed by technical providers needed for hosting, email, infrastructure, support, development tools, analytics if enabled, billing, accounting or legal advice. Psicometrik will seek appropriate contractual safeguards with providers where required.

Data may also be communicated to public authorities, courts or administrative bodies where legally required, and to client entities or authorised collaborators when needed to deliver the requested project.

7. International transfers

Psicometrik will prioritise providers and infrastructures located in the European Economic Area where suitable. If a provider or technical service involves an international transfer, it will be assessed and supported by an appropriate legal mechanism where required.

8. Retention

Contact requests and pre-contractual communications will generally be kept for up to 24 months from the last interaction, unless a longer period is required because an active relationship, legal obligation or possible liability remains.

Contract, billing, accounting and tax documentation will be kept for the legally applicable periods. Project data processed on behalf of clients will be retained, returned, deleted or blocked according to the contract, project protocol and applicable law.

9. Rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent, where applicable, by writing to dario@psicometrik.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you consider that your rights have not been properly addressed.

10. Updates

Psicometrik may update this Policy when legal, technical, contractual or service changes make it necessary. Relevant changes will be made available through the Site.
